This shot was taken on a short trip to Donner Lake California at the end of June. Most of the trip there was horrible wind and had a few hours of snow. After the storm passed the lake turned to glass and we got these beautiful clouds sitting over the mountains right at sunset. This is one of those shots that just happened to appear and had no planning or exceptions which makes it just a bit more special.
