One of my favorite kind of shots is a silhouette, specifically using the emphasizing the detail of your subject it. At a spot near my house the is a couple bushes of these Pampas Grass that work perfectly for this. I timed the shot to line it up with the sunset and have the sun shine through to singling out each little detail of the grass. The angle of the sun and way the wind was blowing mixed perfectly and I feel like the shot turned out exactly as I imagined.
